Pros

Good ethical work culture with a clear commitment and actions to support a healthy work life balance. Egotistic managers or any subordinate "abuse" is not tolerated at all. Huge network of experts across different technological domains to learn from.

Cons

Despite truly believing they are better than the competition, workload remains high and the toxic "extra mile" culture is still very much there and pushed to get everyone working just a little bit more to compete with peers in order to secure a promotion. There is little to no room for creativity on client projects. Company is mostly run by white German men and is far behind in terms of gender and diversity. I have experienced multiple subtle racist comments, esp. with regards to colleagues working from India. You will be promised the world during the hiring process so make sure to understand which team you are joining and which projects/type of work will you be doing!

Pros

Supportive colleagues Friendly environment Leadership attempts to motivate, support, and promote good spirit Not too many sharp-elbow types

Cons

Long-term implementation projects are a drag; you can get stuck there Work-life balance is promised, but clients still expect you to work like a consultant (and your managers turn a blind eye to the long hours) Company can't keep best talent: Junior colleagues typically stay up to senior consultant level, after which they depart for another consultancy or go into industry; higher level colleagues are typically hired externally to fill the gap and bring clients
