      Low pay - for comparable grades in the industry CC underpays Promotion criteria vary between practices and, critically, practice heads - does your face fit rather than whether you have demonstrated competence in the grade above High attrition rates Dilution of strategy capability - leads to not always having the client exec's ear as other firms shape their strategy and CC risks being pushed down the value chain into an implementation house
