      Routine job and Slaves

      Pros

      1. Good pay 2. you need to be good to your direct manager

      Cons

      1. Hectic routine job 2. If you don't listen to your manager , you will have bad days 3. Direct manager are themselves slaves and all commands flows from Program managers 4. Sometimes you get yelled badly in team meetings

      Pros

      The Benefits are great! Volunteer time off, tuition reimbursement, 5 Weeks Vacation for 10 year + employees and great onsite fitness center.

      Cons

      It just seems that Brocade is becoming like what I've heard of Cisco. The mentality from management seems to be that people are expendable and that there are 15 more lined up for that job so just deal with the sizable load that should be relegated to two+ employees.

      Pros

      So far still has good compensation and the staff are very competent and creative. Offices pleasant to work in with good campus location. Still has reasonable mid to low-level jobs. They finally have enough space in the new campus.

      Cons

      New upper executives ransacking the company. New atmosphere thick with lack of trust. Extremely poor communication to upper staff with "do-as-you're-told" mentality. Projects dropped suddenly without any warning or explanations. Executives pushing out high-performing extremely well-respected seasoned experts to replace with so so performers from their own circles. Severe cutbacks in staff and funds while pushing for increased performance already leading to burnouts and project failures. Staff members, the best ones, are quitting in droves.
