      Poor Experience For Me, Mgmt Seemed very poor in new product planning

      Pros

      Great Benefits, good pay, well respected company with excellent product position in many key accounts. Broadcom as a supplier to many companies will certainly get you in the door easily but then mgmt will screw it up once the wins are in place.

      Cons

      Very political place to be with performance rated almost like a random number generator. Some can take it though and last many years.

      Little to no future prospect at Broadcom DTV. Over 50% lay-off in past 2 years and still fast shrinking revenue.

      - Restricted Stock Units (competitive compared to other companies) - Highly skilled engineers

      Cons

      - Requires constant unpaid overtime (14 hours, 6 days a week) - Lots of traveling to support customers with high demands - No IP and architecture ownership in the Markham location - Software engineers are not valued in DTV!
