Some organization issues that should be corrected

The expression "Too Many Chiefs, not enough Indians" describes this organization's structure to a T. Far too many executives, directors, associate directors, managers, assistant managers, supervisors, etc which realistically, can be cut down at least 50%. Most positions in the middle/upper management spend very little time with the lower level employees to understand the day to day, and spend more time conducting tedious meetings with no clear direction. Very large disconnect between upper and lower level employees which results in very little push for productive change when issues or concerns are brought up in the day to day activities. Being a chemical distributor, Brenntag is sometimes at the mercy of unforeseen/uncontrollable circumstances in the world of supply chain. These circumstances lead to situations where transit delays take place. Experience with Brenntsg has shown that the company is not aware that these circumstances exist at times and do not plan expectations around them.
