Pros
Gain exposure to senior level business leaders and work on the toughest challenges faced by the largest corporations in the world. The business model is based upon apprenticeship. Therefore, senior professionals spend time with newer consultants to train and mentor them. Training is extensive consistent across all of the offices globally making it easier to work in dynamic teams. The compensation is outstanding and the health benefits are extremely good. You work hard and are paid for it.
Cons
Tough to balance life outside of work since client services is both unpredictable and demanding. If you have a family, your clients become a priority for all of them, children included.
