Pros

*Market leader with healthy financial performance --> Translates to growth opportunities, bonus, and stock price growth. *People focused culture --> The culture of Booking.com stands out for me. It's a culture that truly values people and a place where you can be yourself. *Product growth and AI --> The company is constantly looking to grow by expanding to new product lines or geographies. The company has also embraced GenAI actively. All of these present great learning opportunities. *Work life balance --> Atleast in Amsterdam, the company has a really good work life balance and flexible work options at the moment of writing.

Cons

*Limited vertical growth: While the growth of the company provides opportunity to work on a variety of projects, there is limited vertical growth at the moment. This is driven by a focus on making the organisation leaner after a spree of hiring during the post-Covid period. There has to be a very strong case for promotions at the IC level and over the last few years, promotions at the manager level have been minimal. *Dynamic environment: Given the growth and action oriented culture, you can experience significant change and initiatives. This might be challenging for those looking for a more stable and slower paced environment.
