Pros of this include: - Loads of opportunities to develop (there is an online training academy as well as focussed courses and programmes for different teams) as a person and in your career; - Can contact technical experts across the globe to increase knowledge. There are also technical communities where anyone interested in a topic can get involved in driving that topic forward; - In the environment part of the business at least there is a non-hierarchical approach so you can take as much responsibility as you want to, and will be supported in pushing yourself further; - On a practical note, performance-based evaluation is undertaken yearly with bonuses available yearly and market review of pay undertaken as well. There are also other spot bonus and recognition schemes available; - You can work flexibly (from basically any of the offices or from home) and there is strong support for people to find working patterns that suit them (new parents etc).
