Pros

Frankly, my presence here is probably one of the company’s greatest assets, but I’ll give credit where it’s due. Alixparnters is respected across the industry, which naturally complements my own professional reputation. I get front-row access to high-profile clients, which is perfect since I’m more than capable of handling that level of interaction.

Cons

For someone of my caliber, the compensation and benefits are laughably behind the market. Too many senior “fixtures” remain in place, contributing little of substance while clinging to their positions and dodging accountability. The org chart is top-heavy, which means there’s no room for someone like me to advance at the pace I deserve. There’s no structured training, though in fairness, I’m self-sufficient enough not to need it. Evaluations often feel based on favoritism rather than actual output, which puts high performers like me at a disadvantage when the politics don’t align.

Bit of La Dolce Vita, with room to grow 🇮🇹✨

Pros

There’s a genuine chance to meet talented, driven people some colleagues are good class. The work environment has moments of brilliance– fast-paced, global exposure, and the kind of challenges that can really grow your skills if you’re proactive. If you like to take ownership and navigate ambiguity, this place can be your palestra for professional growth.

Cons

The culture leans a bit too traditional at times it feels like you're watching an old Italian film where most of the roles are already cast. Being unassigned for long periods without clear direction can be demotivating, especially when you’re just starting and full of energy. Structured guidance and mentoring? Not exactly abbondante. It’s more “learn by fire” than “let us show you the ropes.” Leadership under pressure can come off… brusque. Let’s say, not always dolce.

Pros

Even the pay is low if you compare it to the hours, so there are no benefits.

Cons

People will comment on your appearance, your gender, your sexuality, your race, your religion, anything they can to make you feel less than. You'll spend a week in orientation learning the life history of the company's founder like he's a messianic figure, while learning nothing about the job, the systems and tools, or the intense amount of bureaucratic tasks you have to do regularly. They expect every single person to reinvent the wheel and the concept of mentorship is completely foreign to this company. As a result, processes are extremely disorganized and chaotic. If you work here and refer applicants, they'll be ghosted by the recruiters, or sent terrible canned emails that don't provide any info. Directors will regularly insult you, sometimes throwing full on tantrums with desk pounding, personal insults, and screaming. You will be expected to answer any communications immediately regardless of time. They would prefer if you did eat, sleep, or take bathroom breaks. Definitely forget about seeing your family. And, you must be psychic as well. If you look up the red flags that you might belong to a cult, this company has far too many of them.
