Pros

- Great colleagues with a "let's get this done together attitude" - Interesting projects with interesting clients. Depending on assignment possible to see impact of projects at clients which is unusual for consulting - 2 extra weeks of vacation in addition to standard Finnish 5 weeks per year - decent to good salary, but not comparable with big three consulting firms - on the other hand 60 hour weeks are the exception, not the rule. 50 hour weeks happen too often

Cons

- Consulting projects - deadlines are always tight, clients can be very demanding - some job descriptions like mine included lots of traveling (80 - 120 days/year) - work life balance often screwed up. Vacation makes up for it but difficult to combine with family life and regular hobbies - traveling in economy. Not relevant for European projects but very much so for intercontinental travel
