Pros

Good networking opportunity—you will meet a diverse group of people. Good perks.

Cons

One big call Center. If you are applying for the CSS position, understand that it is an inbound (non-mobile) position. You will be answering phone calls all day. They will constantly say that they “aren’t a call center” and that they are a “support center.” Don’t listen to it. The training is long—10 to 12 weeks. The trainers are rude, patronizing, and condescending. There was one in particular who spoke to some new employees as if they were children. It was absolutely disguising to witness. They are always hiring. They will say it is because they “are growing.” Truth is, most people quit this position hence the high turnover and constant training sessions for new hires. [Note: this one guy in my training group was a victim of bait-and-switch i.e. he was hired for one position, but they placed him in this role once training started. Beware.] They target recent grads. If you’re in a college town, you’ll mostly see those types. Don’t get trapped. Advancement may be possible, but you are expected to be in your role for a year and a half before you’ll be considered for another position. Micromanaging is insane. It is literally a beautifully structured prison. You can’t do anything without being watched or looked over. Are you scheduled to work 8:00? Well get there 30 mins early so you can load your systems and clock in on time. And don’t think that you can leave your work space after clocking in, you are glued to your desk once you’re on the clock. Also, there is no such thing as a grace period. Either you are early or late. Managers are always out. Good luck finding one when you need him/her. They say they care about employees, but what they truely care about is numbers. Learn what you can, and move forward. Not worth losing your dignity and personal values over this place.

Pros

Hours are good 9am to 5.30pm OK rate of pay.

Cons

Bullying by Management and back stabbing staff. The HR department didn't care when reporting bullying and sided straight away with the management. Lack of training and organisations by management. Staff rotas were always wrong. Staff on holiday were still put on the rota as working a shift. Always getting told off by management for going to the toilet when needed Staff treated like numbers and not people. If a manager doesn't like you they put you on weekly meetings and belittle you in front of other managers and staff. I would NEVER work here again as the management are power crazy and treat the staff like rubbish.

Pros

ADP pays decently on industry standard and offers benefits to appreciate. Coworkers are intelligent and driven. There are a lot of opportunities to move to other teams/positions, you just have to endure the first year. Incentives are great if you can attain them - think of the constant dangling carrot effect.

Cons

At ADP, you will experience the generic corporate culture. Not really a social environment, or what you can call a "fun culture." It's hard to find excitement every morning coming to work. Expect constant micromanagement and metrics. Metrics drive all conversations and perceptions of you as an employee and unfortunately, these metrics aren't the ones that actually matter and help move you towards you achieving your quotas. On a daily basis, you will receive messaging from corporate and your manager on how you need to do more activity (even when you're at your quota for your month). You're constantly compared to your colleagues. These are all probably a small attribution and explanation of the constant turnover you see here.
