Pros

Some good people and ok benefits Flexible schedule

Cons

Cut throat environment Only family and friends have opportunity No one seems to care for employees that perform above and beyond what is expected Leadership has been there to longer and pay like crap because they do not know anything else but AAR HR department has no diversity and don't care to support what right. Employee lose no matter what People get fired if they challenged management Employees get paid $10-15K below industry standard No negotiating, either take or leave it Make sure you get it in writing because upper management lies alot about bonuses, etc and will not give it to you. The HR department are the ones coming on sites like this to give the company and CEO positive reviews. I know because I seen it done first hand

Pros

Nice Offices, friendly co workers, could make up time or get comped since most everyone worked over 40 + hours without compensation.

Cons

Buddy system or brownnosers get promoted, instead of hard workers that dependable. Many abuse their status and take 3 hour lunches and still get promoted because they are cute. Discrimination, but HR could care less to hear about it and then you are labeled, so why even speak up? Work not equally divided. Underpaid and overworked, unless you’re someone in Management or HR’s buddy, then you get promoted. Hint: If you’re in the popular crowd you’re socializing instead of working. I was raised that hard work pays off and it will be recognized. Not here in HSV at AAR Aerostructures & Interiors, Precision Systems, AAR Summa whatever name they are going by today. It’s all about looks and whom you smoozed with false compliments or skills you professed to have instead of your integrity and hard work.
