What do you want to do?
All of the questions were very straightforward and nothing a well-versed interviewee shouldn't expect. I suppose the hardest to answer for me was "What do you hope to benefit from the internship process?" For me, internships are required so I hadn't really thought of what I was looking to accomplish ahead of time.
Why do you want to work for Microsoft? Tell us of a time where you had to sell something? What position do you think would be the best fit for you?

Unlike most interviewers, Target didn't ask the "walk me through your resume" opening question, which actually caught me off guard. Otherwise, all questions were situational and not particularly challenging.
The case interview was extremely difficult. I was 2 months into my MBA and it was basically an M&A case and I did not have the financial acumen at that point in my MBA to answer the question nor was I given any indication it would be that I-Banking heavy in order to prepare adequately.
If you were the head of HR for a division of Microsoft and you found out that the number of people quitting was at 30%, what would you do? Also a close second - What is the difference between a CEO, COO and the head of HR? Who is responsible for making decisions regarding hiring?
