I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart in Jul 2018
Interview
I had one of the most unprofessional and unpleasant interview experience of my whole professional life. I was called for an interview for a Pharmacy Assistant position at 675 upper James Street, Hamilton Ontario, Canada. I travelled 3 hours one way (i was ready to relocate if selected) and when i reached Walmart. I was informed that this position has already been filled. Walmart could have informed me earlier. This is so very unprofessional. When you call someone for an interview, you don't decide before interviewing everyone else. Its the basic rule of recruiting.
Anyways, i hope that i never ever have to apply for any position at Walmart Canada again. This was the epitome of unprofessionalism
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Oshawa, ON) in May 2018
Interview
The interview was a 1 hour long one on one with the pharmacist. He asked all the basic questions that would be also be asked to a cashier. There was one technical question where some math is required.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was given a paper with hand written instructions from a doctor describing which drug is needed for a patient and how much is to be given. I had to decide between two different sized bottles (ex. 250 ml vs. 150 ml) and I had to decide which was most appropriate for the situation and how much of the drug should be taken per day by the patient.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (London, ON) in Sep 2015
Interview
I received my first surprise phone interview about a few weeks after I applied online. And after a brief interview with the general hiring manager, she scheduled the second phone interview for me which is with the pharmacy manager. He was nice and polite. The whole interview lasted about 10-15 minutes.
