Pretty simple and to the point, questions are mainly about availability and ability to perform duties as needed with reasonable accomodations if necessary. Previous working experience may come up but for overnight stocking, it's mainly about your ability to work from start to finish under a time crunch.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Houston, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
Low wages but honest work. Room for advancement but takes a long time. Friendly environment. Good lunch room with normal breaks. Vacation and 401k offered with a company match. 10 % discount on purchases.
Got a call from HR asking me to come in for an interview. The interview was just the guy asking me basic questions like "Why do you want to work here?" and "Do you have experience?" And then asking if I had goals for career development. He then told me about his time at the company and how he worked his way up to his position, and then he asked if I wanted the job and showed me around the back of the store. It was more just a technicality and was really straightforward.
