Panel. All managers went down a line and interviewed us one by one and we sat in a line. Then it was one on one with each manager. Intimidating but easy way to stand out among other applicants.
Several interviewees mention walking through the store, getting a short tour, and meeting the Team Lead or supervisor while being asked casual questions
Interview questions were brief and straightforward,
“Tell me about your retail or customer‑service experience.”
“Why do you want this job at Walmart?”
“How often can you work? Are you available for weekends/holidays?”
“Are you comfortable being on your feet/standing for 7–8 hours?”
“Can you lift 35–50 lbs, bend or crouch as needed?”
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Fort Worth, TX) in May 2024
Interview
Not bad, a pretty simple walkthrough of the building, and then we sat to discuss the schedule. Overall pretty quick process all things considered. Though, they may try to pressure you to take days you may not be comfortable with.
