I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Walmart (Enterprise, AL) in Jun 2015
Interview
You get interviewed by two managers, your trainer and the hiring manager. They both ask five questions which are all essentially the same thing. Be prepared to give scenarios showcasing your work ethic and problem solving abilities. You'll fill out some papers and be asked for a drug test, and they'll tell you they'll call back in seven days about the results.
Note: Called the location back after six days and got the job, likely wouldn't have gotten it had I not called them back. Be persistent and enthusiastic!
