I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart in Apr 2021
Interview
Application -> Screener -> Warehouse Manager Interview
~2 weeks
The application had a test/assessment. Otherwise, very standard information.
The phone screener was fairly standard. Talked a lot about my experiences and connected them to situations.
Warehouse managers focused on lead people. 2 people who have been with the company for several years. Focused on "fit".
Phone call, then interview with AGM HR, then with Site Lead and HR. I was pretty straight forward in that regard just ensuring that each step was made in alignment with my schedule.
I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Altoona, PA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Start by introducing yourself then they ask four to nine questions. Afterwards you are given the opportunity to ask questions about the job or company. They will follow up in a week or two and explain the outcome of the interview.
I got a referral, and HR scheduled the interview for the very next day. It was pretty straightforward. The recruiter called me from the store she was working at via Zoom, but she likely ran out of free Zoom minutes and switched to a phone call shortly after. She introduced herself and explained the job responsibilities before handing it over to me for a quick self-introduction. Most of the questions focused on my past experiences, especially around managing associates and my communication skills.
