I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Portland, OR) in Jun 2010
Interview
Got a phone call to set up an interview. When I arrived, I met with the manager of the department I would be working in and asked very basic questions - tell me about a time you had to work with other people to get a job done, tell me about a time you worked in customer service, what do you feel your greatest achievement in life has been so far, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None that were unexpected, they were all basic questions.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Walmart (Mississauga, ON)

Its very easy, just basic questions. One should know there strengths and be a good communicator. They will ask about your availability, communication style and how you resolve issues and work ethics
applied online. phone call from manager who asks few questions on the phone then invites to irl interview then ask few more questions then phone call few days later to offer job.
Automated video interview, answer questions with a prompt. The questions are all basic questions that would typically be asked in a hiring recruiter screen. Didn’t seem very difficult and was very straight forward to complete.
