I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2009
Interview
I did a administrative rotation during pharmacy school with the pharmacy supervisor. I got familiar with the stores in his district and travelled with him everywhere. The rotation consisted of assisting with his daily duties as a pharmacy supervisor. I worked hard during that rotation and he wanted to hire me right away.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walgreens in Jan 2010
Interview
It was a very laid back interview. You come in and are greeted y the head manager who gives you the ru down of the position you are interviewing for. No trick questions, all they want ot know is you and the real you. It is important to be honest about both your qualitative and quantitave skills and not impress them by eloquent sayings and compliments. they can read right through that. after a bout 30 minutes of q and a, they'll tell you when they expect to come to an decision.

I believe this place is for teenagers simply because they do not realize they are doing more work then what the pay is. for example I applied for photo tech. and was told I would do some stock work what I didnt realize is my job consists of stocking freezers, stocking floor, cleaning parking lot, removeing out of date products and restocking shelves. This work is not includeing my job work in photo lab. for 8.25 hr enough said. my work in photo lab is between 10-20% of my time the other 80-90% is doing a stockers job which I believe is a higher rate of pay.
