I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target
Interview
Met with a STL at a local store, then two phone interviews with 2 STL's, then a phone interview with DTL and then an HR. All of my interviews were on the phone. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly, they want you to succeed! Come up with 7-10 LEADERSHIP stories whether it's about a sport you played in high school or college, or a group project you had to take charge on! Remember becoming an ETL is about leading a group of individuals so that's what they want to hear about! They are looking for positive, upbeat and motivating individuals!

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2015
Interview
The first set of interviews was with multiple store managers. 3 rounds at around 45 minutes each. One person was asking the questions and the other was writing down my answers. There were a total of 4 questions per interview. They are mostly situational based questions so be prepared to elaborate. Once passed through you meet with a hr district level person and a business partner. These questions were more off the cuff than formal.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2014
Interview
Not that difficult. Mention strengths in leadership and provide specific examples and you will be fine. You interview with 3 STL's (Store General Manager's). Each interview consists of behavioral based interview questions. Come prepared and you will succeed. In it to win it! The DTL (District Team Lead) is John G. He's incredibly intelligent and a very excited individual. He's cool. Make friends with him and you're good to go.
