I applied online. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Rock Springs, WY) in Aug 2018
Interview
It was a group interview. They asked a lot of open ended "what would you do?" and "what is most important in this situation?" questions. They want to know right away if you can and will sell their credit card. They really really push it right off the bat. "How would you get a person to sign up who doesn't want it" etc. But just give the standard generic responses and you will get hired. But believe me the pressure doesn't stop at the interview to sell the credit cards.

Question 1
What are three facts about the TJ Maxx rewards card?
Straightforward for the position I was applying for. Ended up accepting it part-time. If you do not like asking people to sign up for credit card, it is not the job for you
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Woburn, MA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Single interview with one of the store managers. Asked basic questions about me and why I wanted to work there. Very casual and short discussion. I got the impression that they were just making sure I had no glaring issues.
