T.K. Maxx interview questions

10 Page ' Retail Scenarios' questionnaire .. Pick 1 and explain your reasoning of your choice .. quite straight forward. These were collected when completed and you were shown into a large room for 'one to one' interviews. My interviewer was not very friendly .. just asked various questions about work experience .. tell me about something you've learnt in the last year that could help you in this role ? ...what motivates you ? .... give an example of something you've done to improve your work process ? .. all of which went fine enough... but still the interviewer just jotted down notes on my replies .. no ounce of friendliness .. and then that was it !!.. didn't check my completed questionnaire. Asked me if I had any questions .. I queried about 'job promotion prospects' within TH Maxx .. he just said there wouldn't be any unless I was willing to move to another County !! and I walked out of the room .. no mention of what would happen next. After almost a week with no news" I emailed TK Maxx .. and today reveived a response to the effect that on this occasion .. "Unfortunately your skills and background are not as closely aligned to our requirements as other candidates presented to us at this stage" Okay .... dying to see the 'lucky ones' when the store opens in a few weeks time ....
