Meta Software Engineer (IC4) interview questions

Classic Leetcode, system design and behavioural. Quite easy to nail if you train a bit as they always ask the same questions. Past the interviews, the recruiters were incredibly rude, pushing so that I sign an offer **on the day** (whereas any decent company would allow at least a week to reflect and compare), explaining that other candidates will get the role if I’m not quick. On top of that, comp is quite weak for London. When asking to do more interviews to move to IC5, the recruiter just said “No, all the best, bye.”. I did dozens of interview processes, and I never saw a hiring team that or respectful. Combined with the fact that Meta tends to do quite a lot of lay off these days, I would avoid.
