Facebook reached out to me regarding a role in their People dept. The interview was a phone screen, regarding general experience and interest in the role as I was aware. The conversation was casual.

Question 1
The recruiter was late to the call, and unapologetic. Good chat, general background questions. The recruiter requested by CV. I sent the following day, and never heard back - no confirmation of receipt, nothing. Never heard from them again.
I had a telephonic interview and I felt that the recruiter has already made her mind up , the conversation she had with me was more like a justification why I wasn’t suitable for the role . Her 1st conversation with me she told me they were looking for someone with min 8 years of HRBP experience and if she had taken time to read my profile she would have seen that I had that experience but may be not the official business title but she did not want to listen to me . The conversation lasted 10 minutes . I have read so many positive reviews about Facebook but I did not have the same experience . I also felt the recruiter was very cold and uninterested. It was such a waste of my time . Very disappointed with the experience . I am not bitter about not progressing to the next stage but atleast if she could come across as friendly and a bit warmer to candidates they will have a positive experience .
