I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta in Nov 2020
Interview
+ The recruiters are very helpful. Going through all the details before the interview and arranging preparation calls.
+ They offer very flexible schedules that allow you to set the interview any time you like within a month or even two.
- Interviewer reading the questions from a ready doc which looked as if (s)he was forced to interview candidates and complete that checklist of questions.
- When asked about more details, the interviewer just rephrasing the question without adding any details.
Conclusion:
I think I was unlucky because of the interviewer having a bad day or assigned to something s(he) is not interested in but overall the process is very established and the recruiters are very helpful with the process.
