I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Marietta, GA) in Mar 2010
Interview
I submitted my application online and was contacted by a recruiter about a week later. I was asked to come to the offices in Marietta for an interview. The interview was behavioral in nature and lasted about 30 minutes. I was interviewing for a summer internship and the questions were mostly generic interview questions. After the interview I was taken on a tour of the facility.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you introduced an idea to a person of authority, how you handled it and what the outcome was.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Oct 2009
Interview
The interview itself was amazing, it had a great balance of reciprocal question and answer. The interviewer was a veteran (Navy) and I am also a veteran (Marine) so the interview ended in general discussion and didn't feel much like a typical interview.
The only drawback is that it wasn't an interview for a specific job, but a 'general interview' for the entire company. The idea was that the interviewer types up impressions of the interview and it magically gets appended to your profile (that you cannot see) on the company's career website. I have yet to hear anything from any position from what was the best interview I've ever had. It is very frustrating to have such a great interview and nothing come of it.

Question 1
Tell me about a difficult manager/supervisor or boss and how you dealt with them?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Mar 2009
Interview
I was lucky with the interview as I met my interviewer early that day. He was lost and I helped him find his way to the correct room at the Reitz Union at my University. He asked if I was interested in a position and I told him yes. He gave me an interview the next day. The interview was straightfoward. We kinda BSed about the football team and the girls at the school for a couple minutes and then he asked a couple of generic interview questions: When was a time you faced adversity and overcame it? What do you think you could bring to this company? And what was a time you failed and had to deal with it?
The position was a systems engineering intern, so there were no technical questions. Overall the interview went very smoothly and I received an offer within a couple of weeks.
