I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Jan 2010
Interview
This interview was for one of the Leadership programs. It lasted all day. It kind of started out as a group interview. There were about 12 candidates. After waiting for everyone to arrive, we sat in a conference room with a bunch of managers to eat breakfast, network, and watch a presentation about the company. Then each candidate was called to have about 3 one-on-one interviews. All the interviewers gave no facial expressions, which made it hard to determine how the interview went.

Interview
It was an internal interview and I just went to the site and interviewed with the manager and technical lead. I didn't get the job because they told me my salary was already too high.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Sunnyvale, CA) in Mar 2010
Interview
It was a behavioral competency interview, they called it Full Spectrum Leadership. It was a 1 hour interview, with a panel of 3 managers and HR rep took turns asking 13 questions. You have to use the STAR method (describe the Task, Action, Result). They score you on the quality of your answers and whether you hit all of the STAR. I was allowed to bring notes, however, if you write something down during the interview, you're not allowed to leave the room with it (I think it's to prevent people from sharing the questions). The interviewers were very nice. They asked follow-up questions if they needed clarification.

Question 1
It can be difficult to get people to think “outside the box”. Tell me about a time when you were able to get others to go beyond conventional thinking. What did you say and do? What happened?
