I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX) in Feb 2011
Interview
Received a call from recruiter asking if I'm interested in flying out for an on-site interview. Booked the flight for 2 weeks later.
The interview was only 1 hour long and held in a room full of large cubicles, which was somewhat distracting as I could hear other candidates interviewing. I sat down with a senior manager from the software team and someone from HR. The manager brought a binder with diagrams and flowcharts that describe her team and what they do. She presented this information for roughly 40 minutes. Then the HR rep spent 10 minutes asking me about some background information, such as my security clearance. I was then given less than 10 minutes to try to sell myself and explain why I'd be a good fit. There was no time left to ask questions and the interview ended after exactly 1 hour.
Over 2 months went by with no feedback. Then I received a call from someone in HR telling me there's a problem with the desired salary I listed in my original application. It didn't seem unreasonable to me, and I confirmed that is the range I'm looking to make but I'm open to negotiation. He demanded repeatedly to know my "current salary, as of right now, today." I politely refused, since I am under no obligation to disclose this information. He then said I could either tell him or he will find out in a background investigation. I told him that my current employer doesn't reveal our salaries, and if this is how his company treats potential employees then it is definitely not a good fit for me. He e-mailed me immediately after, saying that my experience and expectations are clearly not right for this position, but good luck with my job search.

Question 1
No technical questions were asked. Only a few questions about educational background and current security clearance.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Arlington, VA) in Feb 2012
Interview
The interview consisted of 1 phone interview followed by an set of 3-30 minute in-person interviews with the manager, senior analyst, and other team members separately and then a final phone interview. They jotted down notes as I answered questions. They were very personable, friendly, and the manager seemed like a good one. There were a very large number of typical behavioral questions you can find in a google search and a few technical questions about my abilities. They did not discuss salary but sent an offer. I was hesitant to negotiate as I read many other reviews for LM that said they do not negotiate but they did! Seems like a great team/company to work for.

Question 1
Describe a time when a team member did not pull their weight and what you did about it.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Goleta, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
Description of the interview process. It began by submitting a resume to the company's online jobs site. Received a phone call from one of the company's engineers and discussed my resume and background. Shortly after, an HR rep. called to schedule an in-person interview. After the interview was scheduled, and one day before a major holiday, the engineer that I spoke with previously asked that I prepare a presentation highlighting my technical knowledge on a subject of my choosing. Without changing my holiday plans to go out of town, I had to cram to prepare a decent presentation. To make a long story short, after eight hours of 1:1 interviews with engineers and managers, and after delivering a presentation which appeared to generate moderate interest, my follow-up emails appear to have fallen on deaf ears, and I never received a single reply, and of course no job offer.
