I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX)
Interview
I interviewed with a panel for Lockheed Martin Space operations.
I didn't interview for Aeronautics because they were behind on hiring for the F-35 contract. I subsequently interviewed internally. A single face to face with a manager and then and offer. Internally it took 3 months.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Feb 2013
Interview
There was a dinner event the night before. You get to ask questions about Lockheed Martin/finance division and they are observing you at the same time. Also there were hiring managers that you will be interviewing with the next day. It is a chance to make a positive first impression and in a way it is a pre-interview before the main interview. You also get to sign up for interviews for different positions. The next day was a full day event with getting a tour of a facility and listening to presentations about the ECDP and FLDP program. Then you have interviews with the hiring managers for several different positions within the company. They ask questions from a list and write your answers down. The questions throughout the interviews were all behavioral.Overall it was a good experience but a bit disorganized since they gave the schedule at the last minute . Also I didn't receive any email whether I was offered a job.
