I applied online. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Aurora, CO) in Dec 2014
Interview
It took about a month and a half from the application until I was notified of the phone interview, which I scheduled for the next day. It's for a position that hasn't existed before in a sector that hadn't had internships before, so they admitted to problems with the applicant selection process. I've only done the one interview so far.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Feb 2012
Interview
Lockheed Martin reached out to me after my hiring manager found my resume in their system from an online application I had submitted about 3 months prior. From there they contacted me about doing an on-site interview at their Sunnvyale, CA facility. Travel was paid for, interview was 3-4 30-minute interviews with members of HR and my hiring manager. All questions were behavioral (no technical), they using a process called STAR (situation, task, action, result). Questions were along the lines of: "talk about a situation where you had a communication breakdown, and how you resolved it" and "talk about a time when you had a particularly successful team experience, and why it was successful".

Question 1
You have to fill the room we are in with ping-pong balls. How would you go about doing it?
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Jul 2014
Interview
Hiring and interview process was coordinated and well performed. People were exceptional. Interview process was friendly and cordial, but assembly line arranged and conducted. Not as personable as expected. Interview process was separate from salary negotiations. Interviews were conducted as group interview sessions in a conference room setting with multiple players in similar interviews. Former peers and colleagues comprised my panel of interviewers. Overall relaxed atmosphere and interactive exchange. There were no women on the interview panel. Functional, technical, managerial focused group conducted my interview.
