I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (King of Prussia, PA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Applied online. Got an invitation to their onsite college recruiting event on a Friday in October. They paid for my flight.
At the event they had about 20 students from mostly regional schools. They gave a presentation about projects at that plant and provided breakfast. After that, each student had three half hour interviews with managers. Most of the managers had been there for decades and didn't care too much about the intended STAR format, instead just having a conversation about what they did and stuff on my resume.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Aurora, CO) in Feb 2015
Interview
Very laid back, friendly, informal. I was made aware of all job openings in the local area. Went over experience and personal acquaintances with the company. We covered all of the benefits that Lockheed had to offer, promotion process, and rough pay guess-timation.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Tallahassee, FL) in Mar 2014
Interview
Phone interview. Pretty standard behavior interview. If you made it this far, you probably got the job. Most people who interview get offers, the hard part is landing an interview.
