I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lidl (Eatontown, NJ) in Oct 2018
Interview
Interviews scheduled in 10 minute slots. Applied to the Hazlet store, but sent to Eatontown for interview, 20 miles away. No one around to direct you to waiting area, which was in the middle of shelving stacks. Interview conducted in a corner of the store while under construction, had to speak over sounds of grinding metal. Interviewer spent most of 10 minutes talking about herself and her career with the company. Gist was they are looking for minions to place where ever their told. Didn't ask which department you were interested in, etc. Also felt I was being blown off because of my age, (over 50). Ten minutes, that's all you get to impress THEM. I received the rejection email a few hours later.

It was about ten minutes with the store managers asking questions and giving a run down of the position. They were very thorough in explaining what the job entailed just in case it wasn't right for me beforehand.
