My hiring manger called me out of the blue and introduced himself. We talked briefly because I had to run to class. Then we scheduled a time for a phone call with my hiring manager. About a week after, I was scheduled to talk on the phone with a release manager. About two weeks after, my hiring manager told me, "congratulations, you got the job offer...."

Applied through IBM's online career website. Contacted by manager through email to arrange an interview. Went to the company and had an one-on-one interview with the manager. Hiring decision notified by email.

I applied directly to their career website for an intern role, they contacted me for an interview within a few weeks. After one on -site interview with the manager, got an offer email. The manager was very friendly. After submitting the all the paperwork, got a formal offer email within two months.
