I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at HubSpot in Aug 2020
Interview
I had a very positive interview process. The recruiter reached out to me about the job opportunity and set up a time to connect on the phone. She took the time to get to know me before getting into my work experience. She explained the role in detail and wanted to gauge my interest to see if the company would be a good fit for me - not the other way around. I knew some of my skills matched up with the job description, and although i wasn't as experienced in some areas, she still wanted me to talk to the hiring manager. After speaking with the hiring manager, I had an assessment to complete, and after submitting it, they notified me that they would not be moving forward with me within three days. Although it didn't work out, I was very impressed by this company merely through the interview process, and hope to one day have the chance to work for them.

How do you conduct data analysis?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2017
Interview
I had 2 phone interviews (1 HR, 1 business focused) followed by 4 interviews onsite. For this particular role the majority of the team are US based so 3 of the interviews were through VC.
I was asked a mix of technical questions and also questions that were focused on my previous experience as well as why I wanted the role, and why the company.
I didn't find any of the questions too hard, but having to do 4 interviews (45 mins each) back to back was probably the most difficult part, and makes it a little more difficult to answer simple enough questions by the end due to fatigue and lack of fluids from taking so much.

Hi there - thanks so much for your review. One of the things we (and many companies) try to balance in their interview process is being comprehensive - giving you a chance to meet with as many people as possible so you can get a feel for the job and our company - while also being efficient. In the event of long interview days, we do everything we can to make it as comfortable as possible for candidates with plenty of times to hydrate, bio breaks, etc. Your feedback is incredibly helpful as we continue to calibrate our processes and interview schedules. - Becky
