I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HomeSense in Apr 2017
Interview
I dropped off my resume and filled out an application. A few months later I got a call asking me to come in for an interview. So I went in and did the interview. It took them 10 days to call my references. I called them and they informed me that I had gotten the job. Overall the interview was very easy and the manager was very friendly. The process may have been slow but it was worth the wait!

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HomeSense (Coquitlam, BC) in Jan 2016
Interview
I filled out an application in store, had an informal on-the-spot interview, then was taken to an office to have a longer/formal interview with the manager, even though she was from a different store, and I never saw her again. That day they called my references, and offered me the job the next day. All in all, it was a very quick hiring process, but I did not have orientation for a few days, and then did not start working until about a week or more after that.
