It was mostly about data structures and algorithms
Two 45-min phone interviews. One of them talked about my research for 15 mins and then asked some simple ML questions. The other one only talked about my recent papers and no technical questions! It was really strange.
I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2019
