I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Google
Interview
It was great! My interviewers were very charismatic. As expected from People Operations. Overall, they were patient and they are also volunteers. So they are pretty cool about everything. They take notes as you speak and then give that to the recruiter (I think).

Question 1
Hypotheticals are the hardest. One I got was
"The people operations teams is thinking about changing the work space into cubicles. How would you test if these were a good fit."
I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
I was contacted via LinkedIn by a recruiter about a role in People Operations (HR) at Google. I had a recruiter screen call, then a video chat with a manager, followed by 4 interviews onsite. Overall process took 3 months from start to finish.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in May 2018
Interview
Process was entirely too long. I was asked hypothetical questions about team dynamics. The questions were all over the place, they say to gauge your thinking ability. Didn’t get much feedback along the way besides they liked you-not enough obviously. A poor and disappointing experience.

What would you do if your client refused to work with you?
