Was well orchestrated with multiple rounds with the hiring manager, a presentation on the technology, a culture fit round and a round with the leader of the site before moving to the HR round
I was initially excited when I received an outreach from GoTo via their Workday platform asking for my availability to schedule a first-round screen. I responded the same day with times to connect. When I hadn’t heard back after several days, I followed up again via email and then once more through LinkedIn with the person listed on the original communication, reiterating my interest and offering more availability.
The response? The role had been closed. No acknowledgment of my follow-ups—just a vague “thanks for your interest.” When I pointed out that I’d responded promptly to their request, I received a flippant “nothing came through from you in my inbox.”
The real take - away is that I got ghosted, after THEY asked for my availability. Do all the Portco's operate like this?

Upon reception of an email comfirming the date of the interview by the recruiter, there was a video conference with a staff developper & the team lead. the video conference lasted about an hour.
