I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EY (London, England) in May 2022
Interview
I was initially approached by their recruiter. I wasn't actively looking for the job but it sounded very interesting so I applied for the role as I was asked to by the recruiter. I then had an interview on Tams with 2 managers. I got the feeling they were going through the motions. One of the interviewers had to leave the interview half way through and very early on had mentioned that there might be other jobs I would be more interested in, at the company, even though it was this specific role that I was most interested and qualified in. At the end of the interview i asked what the next steps would be - the remaining interviewer stated that he didn't know and that there might be another interview or there might not. I got no interview feedback and received no further communication from EY. I followed up with an email asking for feedback and received no reply or acknowledgment. To this day i have no idea how the interview went or why there was no feedback or follow-up. very poor experience for such a large corporate.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Melbourne) in Feb 2018
Interview
Robust interview process with a number of requirements such as online interview. 1 on 1 interview and phone screen as well. Very informative HR team who helped me through the process from start to finish.
Applied online, phone screen by HR, panel interview with two department employees. Unfortunately 30+ days later I've heard nothing. I've become conditioned to not expect replies to applications but surprised I didn't hear anything back after two interviews. Good insight...
