I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CrowdStrike in Nov 2018
Interview
Recruiter approached me online. It was followed up by me sending CV and then a introduction call with the recruiter. These were followed up by 2 phone screens just within a week.
Its been 3 weeks they never reported me the outcome of the interview. Courtesy is missing. I cannot infer anything.
Possibilities:
1.I was so pathetic in the interview that they don't care to let me know the outcome because they will never consider me in the future.
2. I was ok but not excellent in the interview and hence they do not want to reject me but are keeping me in contention while they are searching for new candidates.
3. They forgot to communicate that they I was rejected..
Not a pleasant experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn of your experience during the interview process. As you know, the market for software engineers is very competitive in our industry, which is why we are diligent about thoroughly screening each candidate to ensure he or she is the perfect fit for these roles. Unfortunately, sometimes this results in a longer hiring process. However, we can assure you that this is not typical behavior for our recruiters and we will discuss this with them. We appreciate you taking the time to interview with us and we wish you the best of luck in your job search!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at CrowdStrike (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2018
Interview
'ghosting' is a problem and it is NOT ok.
Appreciate the opportunity (30mins scheduled phone call with recruiting hunting to fill the role, with great scheduling communication. Had a warm, bubbly and positive verbal conversation) to learn more about the technical needs of the role and learned bit about the company. Internal Recruiter directly messaged me through LinkedIn each. But did not hear anything afterwards regardless of multiple follow-ups and attempts to stay engaged.
Due to the lack of response, it's a fair assumption that decision to move in another direction by the hiring manager. And certainly respect if someone more qualified entered the picture. Rejections are disappointing but 'ghosting' shows a lack of organizational leadership, structure and empathy.
Displaying common courtesy to let a candidate know where they stand in the process, would have been appreciated and shouldn't be a difficult conversation to circle back.
One day, in my shoes, interviewing for a new, exciting company, that you are not treated in such an unkind manner.

Interview
Recruiter contacted about opportunity. Scheduled an interview with the hiring manager who never showed up to interview (video screening). Very unprofessional, and recruiter is yet to reply to either phone or email.
