I applied through other source. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Jan 2016
Interview
They went through three rounds of interviews, each with different people. The system seemed very regimented, which should have been a clue. An interesting adjunct, which should also have been a clue is that most of the people who interviewed me had left by the time I got there.

Interview
The interview process included a phone screening with a recruiter, an online assessment that took between 1-2 hrs and then a phone interview with the hiring manager.
My issue was not the interview process itself but the lack of communication and follow up by the recruiter after the final phone interview. I followed up twice by email to find out next steps and never heard back. Months later I received a canned email response saying I was no longer in consideration. I think at the very least a brief personal email from the recruiter much sooner is warranted.
