I was referred for the role and invited to a first-round interview.
The overall experience was disappointing. HR communication felt disorganised - it took multiple follow-ups to get the interview scheduled, and questions sent ahead of the interview were not responded to.
From the beginning of the interview, before any examples were shared, the interviewer appeared disengaged, with limited interaction or follow-up questions, which made the discussion feel one-sided. The interview felt rushed and heavily scripted.
I’ve shared similar examples successfully in interviews elsewhere and passed those rounds, so this felt more like an issue of interview engagement than capability fit.
Following the interview, I received a generic rejection email with limited actionable feedback.
Overall, the process felt rushed and poorly coordinated, which was surprising given the seniority of the role.
