Worst interview process I’ve experienced – complete waste of time
Interview Process:
The interview process at Capgemini was extremely disorganized and frustrating. After the initial contact, it took almost 3 months just to progress to the first stage. During this time, emails were either ignored or responded to very late, with no clear communication or updates.
Despite asking multiple times, I was never given any information on how to prepare, who would be interviewing me, or what topics would be covered. This made the process unnecessarily stressful and unprofessional.
I applied for a Senior role, but during the process they kept pushing me toward a Junior position, using vague and inconsistent reasoning. In the feedback of the interview, I was told that I did not match the role because I was “more experienced”, which makes absolutely no sense.
Overall, the process showed a lack of respect for candidates’ time, poor communication, and no clear understanding of their own role requirements.
