I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2012
Interview
A former Consultant forwarded my resume to a Director in the Chicago office. I then received an email, had an initial phone screening and was set up to take part in the normal recruiting process a few months later. I was living in Brazil at the time and BCG put in extra effort to make the "in-person" interviews possible by setting up a video conference at their São Paulo office nearby me. I had two interviews. Both started with a few brief questions about my resume and then a case study. My nerves got the better of me and I tripped up on the math. Overall the interviewers were very friendly and informative.
