I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BASF (Iselin, NJ) in Apr 2012
Interview
I was a fresh PhD out of grad school, so a typical 45 minute presentation on research followed by questions, then a bunch of 1 on 1 interviews. Good conversations for the most part, except knowing history of BASF and which processes/products they're known for was a little too important in their process (read their Wikipedia page if you're desperate for a job here). Got invited for a 2nd day of interviews for approval with senior VPs. Nothing hard again except for nonsense about company history, but can be a bit intimidating.
