The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Amazon (Leidschendam) in Mar 2016
Interview
Very lengthy process - took almost 2.5 month to reach final round of face to face interview.
Ambiguous process - Got shortlisted for multiple positions and was interviewed for them for multiple rounds. This was very confusing and difficult as positioning myself differently for each time was not that easy.
Lagging prep / discipline from Amazon Staff - I was called for the final interview to HQ. Here the interview was supposed to be with 4 different people, 2 face to face and 2 on VC. Out of 2 Face to face interviews, one interviewer did not turned up, and on follow up in last minute, interview was conducted by phone. Two other interviews were supposed to be on VC but their VC system did not work and both interviews turned up to be only telephonic. Only last interview went on as planned.
Amazon should instigate some discipline to their recruitment process, and if someone is scheduled for interview, they should have the curtsy of already respecting it and conduct the interview as it is planned for.
Overall interview process here seems to be very structured with lots of situational questions but In reality it's much immature and unstructured. All situation based questions I have been asked were pretty much standard and are available on internet with ready answers.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Herndon, VA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Will have approximately two interviews over the phone for 45 minutes to an hour each. If you make it past both phone interviews, then you will be asked to come onsite. Here you will interview with 4-5 others that exist in the same area as your job as well as 1 "bar raiser".".

Question 1
If you had no limited (i.e. money was not a factor in your life) and you could be/do anything you wanted what would it be?
Give me 3 examples of projects you supported and how you managed it aligned with some of Amazon's Leadership Principles (e.g. Customer Obsession, Ownership, Invent and Simplify, etc...)
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (München, Bayern) in Nov 2016
Interview
It was a number of weeks before I received any response at all. The first telephone interview lasted about an hour. For the most part it was scenario questions preceded by the interviewer giving me an outline of what the position entailed. Given a certain situation what would you do, how would you handle it? The interviewer was quite easy going but I had the impression that they were not a professional HR person. I was relatively satisfied with the interview but the process surrounding it is pretty badly handled in terms of responding to applications.
