The process took 2 days. I interviewed at AT&T in Jan 2010
Interview
I went to my campus career fair and was asked to interview the next day. The interview was a 1:1 campus interview that lasted about 45 minutes and consisted of mostly behavioral questions. A few weeks later I was told that I made it to the second round but waited about two months before I was asked to do the second interview. The second interview was about an hour long phone interview that consisted of behavioral questions, many of them the same that were asked in the first interview. I am still awaiting their final decision, he told me it would take a couple of weeks.

Describe a time when you had to deal with conflict
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T in Nov 2009
Interview
1 hour phone interview with 2 people; one interviewer had poor connection, difficult to hear well.
Several open ended questions (i.e. tell me about yourself) and several behavioral questions (tell me about a time when...).
Neither interviewer seemed very excited about the job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Johnson City, TN) in Oct 2009
Interview
First I had a phone interview with a recruiter where I was asked general qualifying questions and given a general description of the responsibilities of the job. At that time, I was scheduled to come in for a classroom style job preview where I was again presented with an overview of the job through power point presentations and video clips. After the presentation, the class was given the opportunity to leave if they didn't feel it was something they wanted to do. At this time, I filled out an application, which included a personality test and also a simulation type skills test. The skills test consisted of real time scenarios where I had to interact with virtual customers over the phone and learn how to interact with the virtual system on the spot. The fast pace of the simulation caught me off guard at first as it was not expected. About a week later I was called in for a one on one interview. The interview lasted over an hour and was very in depth. The questions covered not only relevant work experience and "tell me a time when..." but also personal hobbies, opinions, and interests. Overall I was impressed with the interview process and thought it was set up very well to determine if I was right for the position. I was called about a week later with a job offer.
