The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T in Jan 2008
Interview
Had a quick interview at an authorized retailer. Came in with my resume. Sat down with the Manager and asked me a few questions about cell phones, why I was interested in sales, and about my past job experience. They seemed to like me, and called me later on that afternoon to offer me the job.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T in Jul 2010
Interview
It took about 50 minutes. First they offered me to ask questions about the company and the position. I had several questions written down (e.g. What steps does AT&T take to go green?) so that part took about 10 minutes. After that, the interviewer asked me questions about how I did or would handle certain situations. E.g. how did I handle a collegial conflict in the past? Or I needed to give an example when I faced great adversity. This part took about 40 min. Too bad I wasn't prepared (with written and practiced answers) so that my interview would have been smooth and perfect. I learned a ton from this interview.

Give me an example when you had to use your persuasion skills.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2010
Interview
At&T takes a while to respond and their website can be a real pain. There is no contact information so you basically have to sit around and wait for them to contact you.
