I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at AAR (Wood Dale, IL) in Jul 2019
Interview
The process to get to an interview took 2-3 weeks. It started with a phone interview, then I came in to meet with some other directors and VP's. Upon leaving in-person interviews, I was told that I should hear back within the next 2 weeks as they had 2 other candidates. 2 weeks turned into a month. When I asked what was taking so long, they stated they had other candidates that they now had to interview due to some changes in their process. 2-3 more weeks passed and still nothing until I reached out to one of individuals I interviewed with. They were professional and helped find out an answer. They had potentially identified and internal candidate for that particular role but wanted me to consider a similar role but for a different division. I agreed and was supposed to come in to interview with that group, when I found out through a 3rd party recruiter that they were no longer interested because I was now too expensive and too senior in experience. This was after almost a month of waiting with no response from AAR. The role held the same title and the salary expectations never changed from the first roll to the next.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at AAR (Wood Dale, IL) in Aug 2019
Interview
Recruiter kept in touch with me throughout the whole process, which was helpful because a lot of times companies will just leave you in the dark about what is going on. They told me about the company and the company location and the facilities they had, which was also nice and made me think they wanted to keep a good communication flow with the applicants.
